Copiapoa columna-alba f. variegated (?)

Regular price

At first we thought this Copiapoa was sun-stressed, but it's been growing with possible variegation for 6+ months. With that said, buy at your own risk :) Also, because it is showing signs of variegation now, doesn't mean it will continue. Email us if you would like to see more photos!

This highly desirable cactus grows in the deserts of Chile with an interesting combination of harsh desert and coastal weather.  As they age, their epidermis becomes more glaucous and the spines can become singular and stout.

Care

Copiapoas grow best in a high-mineral mix and require infrequent watering. This plant thrives in light shade although it can be acclimated to full sun.
