This five-ribbed beauty is a cultivar created by Mr. Tsutomu Onzuka. Regarded as one the most striking myriostigma culitvars, Onzuka are known for their snowy bodies, intricate patterns, and distinct flecking.

Care

Like most xerophytes from Mexico, this cultivar grows best in a high-mineral mix and requires infrequent watering. This plant thrives in light shade although it can be acclimated to full sun. Overwatering can cause the plant to split or rot!

Barrel Pot A dash of glaze along the top of the rim hints at a glossy white interior, which is otherwise unseeable when the pot is in use. The unglazed roughness is a nice companion to the distinct texture of the Onzuka.
